Mantener nuestros registros al día. Mantener seguros a nuestros jugadores.New Haven Youth Soccer (NHYS) exige que sus miembros, entrenadores y voluntarios mantengan información precisa y completen todos los formularios, capacitaciones y autorizaciones de seguridad pertinentes.

Consejos para completar los requisitos: Se recomienda completar toda esta información en una computadora con el navegador Chrome. Puede completar los requisitos de Safe Soccer en cualquier momento; se recomienda hacerlo antes de asumir su función como entrenador o voluntario.


Al iniciar sesión en su cuenta de Playmetrics a través de www.nhys.soccer, verá primero la página Mi cuenta. Todas las instrucciones a continuación parten de esa página y solo funcionan cuando ya se le haya asignado un equipo.


Se requiere una foto de perfil.

Para añadir o actualizar la foto de un jugador, padre, madre o administrador: haz clic en el icono del lápiz a la derecha del nombre o en Configuración (icono de engranaje). Haz clic en la foto existente o en el enlace «Subir foto de perfil». Selecciona, abre, recorta y guarda la foto. DESPUÉS, al volver a la página de contacto, DEBES DESPLAZARTE HASTA ABAJO y hacer clic en el botón «Guardar». Al volver a la página original donde estaba el lápiz de edición, ACTUALIZA la pantalla para comprobar que la foto aparezca correctamente.


Se requiere el estado de riesgo.

Inicia sesión en el sitio web del club, ve a la pestaña «Voluntariado» a la izquierda, revisa el estado de verificación y haz clic en el botón «Renovar y actualizar». Proporciona un par de datos y envía el formulario. Este requisito se debe cumplir una vez al año.


Se requiere SafeSport

Este requisito se debe cumplir una vez al año y toma 90 minutos el primer año y 30 minutos para las renovaciones. Si necesitas completar SafeSport, inicia sesión en el sitio web del club, ve a la pestaña «Volunteer» de la izquierda, marca «SafeSport», haz clic en el botón «Renew and Update» y sigue el enlace


Se requiere el curso sobre conmociones cerebrales

Este requisito se cumple una sola vez y solo toma 30 minutos. Haz clic aquí para acceder al enlace. Si necesitas subir tu certificado de conmoción cerebral, inicia sesión en el sitio web del club, ve a la pestaña «Volunteer» de la izquierda, marca «Concussion Certificate», haz clic en el botón «Renew and Update», sube el certificado y envíalo.

  • 1. Member Profile

    Log in to, or create your Playmetrics profile and ensure your profile information is accurate and up to date.

    • Profile photograph, where required
    • Legal name and contact information
    • Mailing address, date of birth, and gender, where applicable

    Photo guidelines: Use a clear, recent headshot with only one person in the photo. Avoid hats and sunglasses, use a plain background, and face the camera directly.


    Important: After uploading or updating your photo, save your changes and verify that the correct photo appears on your profile.

  • 2. Required Forms

    Complete all forms assigned to your role:

    • Background screening consent
    • Applicable Connecticut child-abuse prevention and Safe Sport policy acknowledgments
    • Mandated reporter requirements, as applicable
    • Concussion policy acknowledgment

  • 3. Coach & Volunteer Safety Clearances

    Coaches and volunteers must complete and maintain all applicable requirements.


    U.S. Soccer Safe Soccer Phase 1

    Complete the applicable components through U.S. Soccer Learning Center, including:

    • SafeSport training
    • Introduction to Safe and Healthy Playing Environments
    • Code of Conduct requirements

    Background Screening and Risk Status

    Complete the required background screening and annual risk-status process through the designated NHYS/PlayMetrics workflow.


    Concussion Education

    Complete the required concussion education and submit the certificate or completion documentation through the designated workflow, if required.


    Check your account for current requirements, renewal dates, and any additional certifications or licenses assigned to your role. 

  • 4. Tips for Completing Your Requirements

    • Use a computer and the Chrome browser for the best experience.
    • Complete online training as early as possible, preferably before your coaching or volunteer assignment begins.
    • Use your legal name and the same email address associated with your NHYS/PlayMetrics account when completing external training or screening.
    • Save all changes and retain certificates or confirmation records until your clearance has been verified.
    • Check your account regularly for outstanding requirements and renewal notices.

    Log in through www.nhys.soccer and review your account and assigned requirements.


    If a requirement is missing, a certificate does not appear, or your clearance status is incorrect, contact office@cjsa.org as they can work directly with you to identify the missing pieces.
