NHYS, in partnership with Common Ground School, is pleased to offer our Learn to Play program to players who wish to continue soccer this November and December.

Due to indoor space constraints, we are putting a cap on enrollment and are sending this message to everyone in our database to ensure all who wish to participate have the same opportunity to do so.

This is our in-house recreational program for individuals looking to have fun and play soccer with boys and girls in a learning/fun environment with no travel. This is open to all boys and girls under age 10.

We have multiple coaches who are present for each session and will modify sessions and break into groups based on age and ability for those who show up each day. Soccer experience is not required, and coaches adapt each session to their audience.

All sessions will be held in the gym at Common Ground School, 358 Springside Ave, New Haven, CT 06515.

Each session is held one day a week beginning 11/28/22 and will last for five weeks.  You can sign up for as many sessions as you wish.  Real time open date/time selection is available at www.nhys.soccer.

There is a family discount ($50.00 for second child) built into the registration for family members on the same account. You can also elect to pay half now and pay half next month at check out if you wish to do so.

It is suggested players wear a t shirt, shorts, shin guards with socks covering them. Sneakers are fine.  No cleats (as this is indoor).   A soccer ball (size 4) is optional. Players should also bring water.
