New Haven Youth Soccer is a volunteer run, non-profit organization that provides a place for boys and girls ages 5-19 to learn and grow with each other.  Children of all ages meet friends from across our diverse and lively city; we are a multicultural, integrated organization that welcomes everyone.
 
We offer several programs geared towards players of different skill sets and ages.   

The Learn to Play group is for ages 4 to 12; recreational soccer is fun, relaxed, and a solid introduction to soccer skills. The program is priced to encourage all children to play, and financial aid is available for families that qualify.

The Competition/Recreation Travel League is a competitive league designed for experienced kids.  Teams are usually chosen through a pre-season tryout or evaluation and involve one to two weekly practices plus a weekend game which may be held throughout New Haven County.  Specific divisions are broken down by gender/age and skillset.  

The Middle School League is a unique opportunity for middle school children from grades 5 through 8. Many of the teams represent local middle schools, and NHYS has one team organized for children whose middle schools do not have an organized team. The league is co-ed, and games are held every Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. to noon. A championship competition is held on the last Saturday of each season.
