How do I register?

Before you can register you will need to create an account with our website.  Simply go to the "Register Now" Page and follow the prompts.

To begin, please click on the 'Register’ button in the upper right-hand corner of our homepage.  You will be asked to supply an ID / Password and additional information for your account.  Account information should be pertinent to Parents or Guardians.  Following that, you will be requested to add your children as participants.

Please note there can only be ONE ACCOUNT per FAMILY (all players in the family must be on the same account).  

Please be sure your account information is correct, the address, phone number and email are used for future communication.   Moving forward your information from previous seasons has been saved to make your registration process more convenient.  

Do I create a new profile every time I register my children?

No!  Once your FAMILY profile is set up in this system you will be able to log in and modify your information should anything change.  You will use this profile every season you register for soccer.  It will be a very fast process once you put your information in for the first time.

Where does my team practice and play?

We have several fields throughout New Haven.  Team specific information is posted on the individual team page.

How do I know if my game or practice is canceled due to inclement weather?

Simply go to our homepage and check the field status of your fields.  Field opening/closings are updated by the Board of Directors in real time.

How do I know what age group to place my child in?

Please refer to the Age Matrix document on the Registration tab to see what Birth Year corresponds to the “Soccer Age” (Example birth year of 2010 would be a U 11/12 this spring).

If my child is playing U10 Recreational Soccer, can they also play U10 travel?

Yes.

If my child withdraws from the season, will I be reimbursed?

NHYS does not offer reimbursement once the season starts.

How do I know if we qualify for financial support?

Please refer to the “Financial Support” section of our website to apply for assistance.  Each case is personally handled on a one to one basis.
