In-House Recreation Soccer
learn
play
grow
Learn to Play Soccer is back, but this time we have expanded the program in many ways.
All players, ages 3 to 14 will meet at East Shore Park, Field 3 at 9am where multiple coaches will work with the kids and will separate players each week based on their age and skill set.
At 10am all kids will then play small sided games, again broken up each week by who shows up, their age and skill level.
Each kid will have two hours of soccer each week from April 17, 2027 until June 12, 2027.
Finally, kids will be able to order a NHYS shirt for free and have it shipped directly to your house in time for their game. Kids will select the color, size and number on their shirt and there is no shipping fee!
The New Haven Youth Soccer (NHYS) Learn to Play Program is designed to introduce young players to the game of soccer in a fun, supportive, and developmentally appropriate environment. Held on Saturday mornings, the program provides age-specific instruction that builds confidence, develops technical skills, and fosters a love of the game. Whether your child is kicking a soccer ball for the first time or looking to improve their skills, our experienced coaches create a positive structured learning environment where every player can succeed. Current travel players are welcome to add this package if they wish to gain additional experience.
