TRAVEL SOCCER

New Haven Youth Soccer is pleased to open registration for our Fall 2026 Travel Soccer Program.

Our travel program is open to all New Haven residents, regardless of skill level. During registration, families may choose their level of team play:

Travel Competition (Comp)

  • A more competitive environment for the more serious player
  • Playing time is determined by the coach
  • Focus on player development and team performance

Travel Recreation (Rec)

  • Less competitive environment
  • Equal playing time for all players
  • Emphasis on learning, enjoyment, and development

Both Travel Competition and Travel Recreation teams:

  • Practice at least twice per week (some recreational teams may practice once a week)
  • Home games and trainings are held at East Shore Park in New Haven
  • Travel to neighboring towns for away matches
  • Compete against teams of similar age and ability levels

Travel soccer requires a greater commitment than our Learn to Play program. Our goal is to build strong, long-lasting relationships among players, teammates, coaches, and families as children grow and develop together within the club.
